Hi all

This is my weekly summary of what I did with regards to GUADEC
organizing. The conference starts next week!! Which is quite soon.

* Conference call on Monday 10th, minutes:

* Emails and phone calls:
    - 5 bike lockers will now be available at the Brooks Building (we
      had a request for 1), own lock is required
    - Confirmed breakfast is available in the Brooks Building canteen
      every day
    - Confirmed football hall hire at the Brooks Building
    - Discussions of who wants what sponsor perks, led by Neil
    - Various other things

* Accommodation:
    - Various changes, including several which were due to people having
      their visas refused :-( Also a few people cancelling rooms that
      they have previously booked and paid for.
    - Emailed details to everyone who has booked accommodation with
      registration
    - Max emailed all sponsored attendees the details of their
      accommodation
    - Paid hotel booking for Thursday night overflow rooms
    - Sent invoice for University accommodation for payment

* Birthday party:
    - Organized PA, drum kit and hopefully other bits
    - Looked at cake suppliers and asked for some quotes

* Merchandise/printing:
    - Looked into umbrellas; we got a quote from expressumbrellas.co.uk
      but it worked out at £10 per umbrella once taxes and printing
      setup were included in the cost.
    - Ordered paper bags for holding water bottles and flyers; decided
      not everyone needs one as most people have rucksacks anyway but
      still got 50 paper bags that we can have at the info desk.
    - Back and forth over lanyards, eventually we are going to have
      Codethink providing them all (which will save us several £100)
    - Increased water bottles order by 30, due to increased attendance
      figures. Lots of discussion of the logo layout as well.
    - Discussion of badges
    - Ordered 250 lanyard pockets

* Registration:
    - 217 people are registered now!

* Schedule:

    - Now added to the menu in the Giggity Schedule Viewer app:

* Website:
    - Various updates
    - Added OpenStreetMap links to https://2017.guadec.org/social-events/
      (don't let Google eat the world!)
