[guadec-list] Volunteers - general info arrival in Brno

Hi,
For those of you arriving on Tuesday, July 29 or Wednesday, July 30, try to make it to one (or all) of the pre-conf meetings. There are a lot of things to do and never enough helping hands.

Make sure, you have picked your shifts during the core days. We need both early risers and late-afternoon high-energy people, just pick a few slots. Keep in mind that we need about 12 people per shift. For the timetable, see https://wiki.gnome.org/GUADEC/2013/Volunteers/Timetable

Early shifts start at 8:30 and end at lunch time. Late shifts should check in with Jozef or me during lunchtime. The shift starts after lunch.

About the arrival, The main train station is supposed to be closed and the alternative station is a bit off the beaten track, meaning bad to reach the dorm from and you might want to watch your bags. If you are traveling from Vienna, Bratislava, or Prague, I suggest you to take the StudentAgency bus, which is cheaper, safer, faster, very comfy and usually offers wifi and onboard entertainment.
