[guadec-list] Organizing GUADEC 2012

Hi all, 

For some personal and family  reasons, I am not able to continue helping on GUADEC 2012 organizing this year. After talked with several people, Bob and Chema volunteer themselves to help on GUADEC 2012 organizing. 

Bob Murphy -- Help on continue building the GUADEC committee, lead and coordinate GUADEC committee
Chema Casanova - Lead of the local A Coruña team, mainly focus on the GUADEC 2012 local organization 

The GUADEC 2012 will contain two parts, local team in A 
Coruña and GUADEC committee. The GUADEC committee include many 
experienced people who can help in many ways, so the local team can 
focus on the local organizing work. 

The GUADEC committee and  local team will work together on below things:

• Build the website infrastructure including a registration system and use it for every GUADEC 
• Draft call for sponsorship, call for paper documents etc
  
• Share Sponsors' contact
  
• Have regular meetings (usually IRC)
  
• Focus on continually improving the process, including post-event reports.
• The event committee would help with international sponsorship opportunities while the local team would likely focus more on local sponsorship opportunities.
• Art design 
• Other
