[guadec-list] International Day Idea

Hi all, 

Last year, I had an idea about having a party, dinner or whatever which
was about having some tastes from different cultures of the world.
GUADEC has lots of people coming from different cultures, and I thought
we should emphasize that. Quim was very open to that idea, but I wasn't
sure if I could organize it that time. 

However, if Organization Committee might help me, I want to realize this
event, this year.

In order to do that, of course help from attendees is necessary. They
should bring something they can share. That might be a spirit, or a
local desert (which is possible to keep with them during their travel).
And what I suggest is to arrange a room, if possible with some sound
system so we can also play local songs, and serve those foods. Just for
tasting nothing more. 

Even those coming from different countries of Europe, might have local
stuff not well known even in their own country. Those cases are not
really rare. 

I'm not quite sure about the possibility of that, but if that idea
sounds good, I will try to organize that event. Having a wiki page and
asking people to contribute with what they can bring would give us some
idea, and we would know if it's worth having such an event.
