[guadec-list] How to structure the schedule

Proposal:

THE APPROACH WEEKEND

Friday 23: Sant Joan late-nite welcoming party. Bring stuff you want to
burn (literally).

Sat24 & Sun25: Workshops in Catalan, Spanish and other locales
including English. Regional meetings. Possibly a opening keynote on
Sunday afternoon/evening. Proposing a GNOME-KDE football (US: soccer)
game as well.

GUADEC CORE

3 days (Mon, Tues, Wed), 3 protagonists (The User, The Client, The
Developer), 3 tracks (Topaz, Catwalk, Tangle) + parallel BOFs

Every day the 3 tracks are developed being focused towards a protagonist.

The Topaz track is composed by visions, bets, plans, alpha developments
and anything related to the future.

The Catwalk track is composed by showcases, presentations, demos...
anything you can show and is related to the present.

The Tangle tracks is composed by tricky issues, controversial problems,
cross-discipline knots that were originated in the past and need a wide
effort to be solved.

Mon26: The User. Sessions about user experience, profiles, trends,
special needs, training process, habits & issues, end-user apps...

Tues27: The Client. Sessions about big deployments, distros, admins,
independent software developers, corporations, public administrations...

Wed28: The Developer. Sessions about... development :), languages,
platforms, libraries, standards, bugs and the GNOME project workflow.
Closure and social event at the end, with a possibility of a KDE-GNOME
rematch, this time on basketball.

Of course some sessions won't fit properly in any day/track, others in
many. This is a reference and we are not going to throw out a good
session for being so good it doesn't fit in our initial plans.

AFTER HOURS

N-n-n-no se vayan todavía, aún hay más ((how was the original in
English said by that stammering pig in the WB cartoons?)

Thurs29 and Fri30: Team workshops aimed either to professionals or heavy
involved developers convincing their companies to stay until the weekend
to discuss and hack together now that most people are in the same place.
Also space for BOFs and other post-coreGUADEC activity lead by people
that decided to stay over the weekend anyway because of the beach,
tourism in Barcelona, holidays, etc.
