Visual Studio Gtkmm Application Deployment Example Request

I have been building a gtkmm application in windows visual studio. The FAQ explains quite nicely about redistributing the dll's of gtkmm with the application, but where I am running into issues is once my application is running how do I properly get the gdk image loaders to properly be installed so that when I load a PNG file it actually finds the correct loader.

To build the MSI, I added to the visual studio project a setup/install, it finds the dll dependencies. In addition, I have added the Gtk+ directory contents for etc, lib,manifest, and some from share like the MS-Windows theme.

I am making shots in the dark on how to get this loader associated correctly with the install. Does anybody have advice or FAQs?
