Change checkButton size

Hi,
I'm developping a full-screen application. I've added some checkButtons to
it, but it's size is to small compared to the rest of the buttons and
labels.
I would wish to change the check size and edit the label's font. I think
I've work out the label part, but I have no idea of how to edit the check
size.

I've tried editing the modify_style, but there's no size there. It seems
that the size comes from Gtk style, but I've haven't figured out how to
change it.

If I can, I would like to do this without changing the rest of the system's
style (just for my application).
