Disable shadow to insentive text

Dear all,

Using gtkmm, I've the problem that when setting a label to insensitive mode, the
color of the text changes but also appears a white shadow to the text that gives
the impression that the text is 3D.

Could anyone tell me how can I disable this shadow?
