A shadow in my Window ??

After decompressing

gtkmm-win32-2.12.7.zip <http://www.gustin.be/win32/gtkmm-win32-2.12.7.zip>

I installed "gtk-dev-2.12.9-win32-1.exe"

and recompiled one of my applications, however, I now get a shadow from the ComboBox.
please see the attached picture.

I think this is a bug that exist in the 'gtk-dev-2.12.9-win32-1.exe', 
since I previously had the same experiance when using gtkmm-10.11.
I have attached a picture of the display window that clearly shows what 
the anomaly is.

Can anyone elaborate on what could be causing this problem?
