gmmproc and libs installation in glibmm

Hi,
Is there a reason why gmmproc and its Perl libraries are installed by
default in glibmm ? I have to remove them from the Fedora RPMs as
they're polluting the RPM perl namespace. Are they potentially useful to
the developers ?
