Set treeview column width

Hi, i'm using the code of an exampple treeview
(http://www.gtkmm.org/docs/gtkmm-2.4/docs/tutorial/html/ch08s08.html)

thae way of creting the table is by using a gtk:.treeModel..

but i have been reading the documentation and i dont see any method to
set the width of the column..

the only widget that have this method (set:min_width) is
Gtk::TreeView::Comun.. ant he GTk::TreeView doesn't have any method to
set it.

is there any way to set the column width ussing gtk::TreeModel ??
