As Hubert said, please do contact the people who supply these.

Boost has nothing to do with us.

It looks like it needs a newer GTK+. The configure would normally check
for that, but I don't know if MacPorts uses that. I doubt that this
problem has much to do with the fact that you are using a newer version
of MacOS.
