[OT] Ardour 2.0 released

its not directly related to the topic of the list, but i'd just like to
mention in passing that we released version 2.0 of Ardour yesterday, a
humungous, complex and rather sophisticated application that uses gtkmm
for its GUI. it might be one of the largest gtkmm applications around,
certainly in the open source world. More info, screenshots, and of
course, lots and lots of source code at http://ardour.org/

A large part of the last 2 years has been porting Ardourfrom GTK1 to
GTK2, and trying to do so "idiomatically". It was a lot harder than it
appeared when we started :)
