Building Gtkmm 2.10 with .NET 2005

I'm trying to guild gtkmm-2.10.9 on .NET2005 and keep running into the
following compile errors for Glib::GobjectBase:

member declared in class 'Glib::ObjectBase'

I'm able to get around this compile error (and others) when I disable
GLIBMM_VFUNCS_ENABLED and GLIBMM_EXCEPTIONS_ENABLED in the glibconfig.h.
I'm using glib-2.10.10.
