Thanks. I wonder why I'm not having this problem on Ubuntu Feisty (with m4
1.4.8build1):
murrayc murrayc-desktop:~$ m4 --version
GNU M4 1.4.8

gtkmm | build | Ver: 2.8.x
Summary: Gtk::ComboBox::append_text()
Product: gtkmm
Version: 2.8.x
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: Normal
Component: build
AssignedTo: gtkmm-forge lists sourceforge net
ReportedBy: sigo8 hotmail com
QAContact: gtkmm-forge lists sourceforge net
GNOME version: Unversioned Enhancement
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Why isn't this there already? Shouldn't a good wrapper wrap all useful
functions? The other API is too complicated.
The exact version I have is
gtkmm24-2.8.2-15
gtk2-2.8.10-39.22
gtk2-devel-2.8.10-39.22

I think I might have built the libgdamm tarball with a hacked version of
glibmm. I'll release a new tarball soon.

I can't reproduce this, and valgrind doesn't show any problems when doing this
either.
Do you have similar problems with the gtkmm examples? I suspect a
gentoo-related problem.
