Interface peek?

Hey, does anyone have any idea what this error means?
(simple:3894): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_interface_peek: assertion `instance_class != NULL' failed
I'm gonna have to go back through the inheritance to make sure everything's right. I just wanted to see if anyone else had see that before I go chasing up the wrong tree.
