These are not virtual methods, so there should be no offset issues.

I've still had no luck getting the GTK+ developers to document that these
keybindings are an exception to the usual don't-wrap-keybinding-signals r=
ule.

 gtkmm | build | Ver: 2.9.x

           Summary: gtkmm-2.9.2 does not build against gtk+-2.9.1
           Product: gtkmm
           Version: 2.9.x
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: Normal
         Component: build
        AssignedTo: gtkmm-forge lists sourceforge net
        ReportedBy: jsacco ydl net
         QAContact: gtkmm-forge lists sourceforge net
     GNOME version: 2.15/2.16
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

gtkmm-2.9.2 [gtkmm-2.9.1] does not build against gtk+-2.9.1. The problem
appears to be some API name changes in gtk+. =20

For example:

                             ...
printsettings.cc: In member function 'int Gtk::PrintSettings::get_num_cop=
ies()
const':
printsettings.cc:501: error: 'gtk_print_settings_get_num_copies' was not
declared in this scope
printsettings.cc: In member function 'void
Gtk::PrintSettings::set_num_copies(int)':
printsettings.cc:508: error: 'gtk_print_settings_set_num_copies' was not
declared in this scope
make[6]: *** [printsettings.lo] Error 1

                             ...

A quick look at <gtk/gtkprintsetttings.h> shows

gint               gtk_print_settings_get_n_copies       (GtkPrintSetting=
s =20
*settings);
void               gtk_print_settings_set_n_copies       (GtkPrintSetting=
s =20
*settings,
                                                          gint           =
   =20
num_copies);

Sigh...

-Joseph

------- Comment #2 from Joseph Sacco  2006-05-18 19:34 UTC -------
This patch gets gtkmm-2.9.x to build.=20

The patch is "mostly" correct:=20

* The fixes for gtk/gtkmm/printsettings.cc and gtk/gtkmm/printoperation.c=
c are
correct.

* The fix for gtk/gtkmm/recentmanager.cc is a heavy-handed hack.
The error handling semantics have changed so the patched sections of
recentmanager.cc will need to be rewritten. I just worked around the prob=
lem.

------- Comment #17 from Philip Langdale  2006-05-18 20:26 UTC -------
I rebuilt and tested with the latest glibmm and gtkmm-2-8 and everything =
seems
to be in order again. I obviously can't be sure that there isn't somethin=
g else
hidden in there, but it's looking good so far.

Thanks!
