Removing a widget from its container without destroying it

Hi there,

 

  I hope that someone could help me because I have a Gtk::Table adding in a VBox and I would to remove this Table from the Box without destroying it. I try to use "unparent" but it doesn't work.

 

 Is there another way of doing it?
