Hey Everyone,
Just a followup to report that implementatino of Glib:Dispatcher worked
like a charm for my purposes; and I would like, once again, to thank
everyone for the timely and very helpful advice. I don't know where I'd
be without you guys!
Sincerely,
Bob Caryl

Greetings everyone:
repeat after me: "Either one thread to make all GTK/GDK/X11 function
calls OR careful and 100% complete use of g_thread_{enter,leave}()
calls".
personally, i prefer the former. Use Gtkmm::Dispatcher() to do thread-
to-thread signallying.
