please read the GTK+ FAQ entry on threads at www.gtk.org
Okay, the FAQ outline the problem, but that doesn't help with my
particular problem. Is there some more documentation available
elsewhere, what one has to do in order to make a gtkmm program thread
safe? Most of all, are the procedures the same for a Gtk+ and a gtkmm
program? Or are there C++ specific approaches for thread safety in
gtkmm? I couldn't find the gdk_thread_* functions for example in the Gdk
namespace (see other post).
By the way, the link to the FAQ on www.gtk.org only displays a blank
page. I found a UK mirror for an old version of the FAQ (Gtk 1.x) so
it's possible that I didn't get the whole story, unless nothing has
changed since.
Regards,
Matthias
