How to connect complex signals to handler functions?

Could someome please enlighten me how I would go about connecting the
following signal to a handler function?
Glib::SignalProxy4< bool,const
Glib::RefPtr<Gdk::DragContext>&,int,int,guint > signal_drag_motion();
Does an eventbox emit such a signal?
