Summary: Remove link from Additional Resources page
           Product: gtkmm
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Normal
         Component: general

I would just like you to know that the application OpenLDev on your Addit=
ional
Resources page under "Applications using gtkmm" no longer uses Gtkmm.

Of course, I feel that I should offer an explaination for the move. This =
is not
meant to be an insult to the Gtkmm developer in any way. My problem is th=
at with
a larger application, Gtkmm adds too much overhead (my executable size cu=
t by
half when I switched to Gtk+). Also, the Gtkmm sources weren't updated in=
 apt at
the time.

This just means that I don't want to use it for OpenLDev, though. With sm=
aller
apps, I think Gtkmm is perfect for any C++ developer and I loved using it=
. To be
quite honest, Gtk+ is such a larger pain in the butt, especially using it=
 with C++.

Keep up the great work with Gtkmm and I hope there aren't any hard feelin=
gs from
what I said ... :] - Andrew Krause
