Didn't mean to bad mouth the API there like, I just meant in the sense that,
as you said, "Gnome-VFS is trying to move towards using URI strings rather
than GnomeVfsURI objects", now I am not sure if this will manifest itself as
some sort of user visible duality, i.e vfs_obj::something(uri_string ...)
_and_ vfs_obj::something(GnomeVfsURI ...), but that is the sort of "up in
the airness" to which I was refering.
