Re: Widget to play movies

Emilian,
thank you for your help. I've searched through xine hacker's guide, but it shows examples of creating a separete X window to play the movie file. I want to get the movie inside a gtkmm widget and I don't know how to do it. It seems it needs a little knowledge about X and I don't have it.

Best wishes and a Happy New Year.
Arthur

I think the easiest way is to use libxine. It is separated library (seems to be
easy to use). And they are already many implantation's of it in gtk like: gxine
and xfmedia.
