Example in 2.4 docs does not build - no cairomm include files

I'm trying to learn gtkmm by using the docs at:
http://www.gtkmm.org/docs/gtkmm-2.4/docs/tutorial/html/index.html

However, the example at:
http://www.gtkmm.org/docs/gtkmm-2.4/docs/tutorial/html/ch14s07.html
doesn't compile because it requires an include file,
<cairomm/context.h>, that isn't installed. I'm using
Debian Sarge and installed the Debian package
libgtkmm2.4-dev and its dependencies, as recommended
by the gtkmm team here:
