Leandro, Ian,
We are also using touchscreens for our application. I found a consol
ncurses calibration program that works well:
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/X11/xutils/touchcal-0.2.tar.gz
I had to modify the makefile to get it to compile on Linux with ncurses,
and the values it generated plugged into the /etc/X11/XF86Config and the
touchscreen works fine.
Another quirk that I had was with the elographics_drv.o (since we were
using elo touch screens). For some reason we had to replace this file
with one from an old redhat system in order to have it work correctly.
I'm sure there is a simpler way to get it to work.
When our schedule permits I would like to write a calibration routine in
gtkmm so that our customers can calibrate their own touchscreens
easily. Does anyone know of one that is out there?
Jeff

We're using touchscreens and gtkmm with no problems. Touchscreens
behave like a regular mouse, the only trouble you may find is to have
your touchscreen working under Linux/X, but that's another issue.

Hi all,
Not sure how good a question this is, but how easy would it be to use
GTKMM with a touch screen? Is it something that is difficult to code, or
would GTK+/GTKMM just work with touch screens?
Rgds
