Hi,
I am relatively new to linux development. I am comming from dos/w2000 arena.
I am internally debating which software development system to use.
In response to the article mentioned...
One significant criterion for me is speed.
I have redhat 7.3. and I find that the kspread takes forever to update cells
after modification.
I am taking like a minute.
Gnumeric runs at light speed.
So does gftp.
This is on a hp vectra pentium 2.
Is this typical or are there some parameters to change.
thanks,
paul
