The problem is with GTK+ 2.0/2.2 and GTK+ 2.3, not gtkmm. GTK+ 2.3 will
crash gtkmm 2.2 at the moment.

I have commented-out that signal in gtkmm 2.4, but that's just a workaround.
Someone has to fix the GTK+ bug.
