Try:
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig pkg-config --cflags sigc++-1.2
If everything works, you should see two to three -I<path> there.
If not, you could allways try to compile sigc++ with --prefix=/usr -
however thi
s could mix files with the "official" RH packages....
