[gtkmm] Win32 window resizing

I was just wondering, when I resize Gtk+ (The GIMP) or gtkmm (some 
examples and a bit of my own code) windows on Win32 then the widgets in 
the window do not adjust to the new window size until I release the 
mouse button. Is this a limitation of Gtk+ or is there a way to make 
this work the way a Win32 user would expect? If there is, how do I do it 
with a Gtk::Window?
