Sorry for that confusion.But remote-viewer is compiled with somehow bad
version numbers. From the file details (right klick properties) one can read: 

file-version 1.0.0.0
product-version 2.0

I deleted all old installations and can confirm that the "About VM-Viewer"
dialogue displays version 2.0256 (when running with DLLs from installation
package.
