Nah, the same affect is noticable in your theme there. If you to the left of the image, you will see the exact same thing. The light than part to left of it is what I am talking about. The big problem comes in with WMs like fluxbox that expect a small square tray icon. Of which the menu stuff off sets it a bit resulting in only half the icon being displayed.
