Seems to work OK* here. You'll need a gtk+ >= 2.13.1 in order to have
GtkIconFactory support GtkBuildable.
* Program runs fine, but the button doesn't show the image.
That would be it - working with 2.0.0.
how are you even managing to get a Buildable with gtk+ 2.0.0? the
GtkBuildable interface, like GtkBuilder, was added with gtk+ 2.12.
