Rotate a treeview 90 degrees?

Is it possible to rotate a treeview 90 degrees? To get an idea of why,
have a look at the screenshot ( sensitive data squashed up on the
side ):

It would be great if I could flip it around to the left. Yes I realise
there are better tools around ( I am using Cairo a bit now ), but the
above screenshot only took 40 lines of code to set up ...
