Hi again!
After a long time I'm trying this again. But this time I get a very
strange error:
When the compiling process enters the stage where it is going to build
the library itself
Running Mkbootstrap for Glib ()
...
I get the following error (in a Windows message box!):
Die Anweisung in "0x7c921e58" verweist auf Speicher in "0x69534756". Der
Vorgang "read" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher durchgeführt werden.
Unfortunately, I'm running a German system, so the English equivalent
would be:
The instruction at "0x7c921e58" referenced memory at "0x69534756". The
memory could not be "read".
I'm building Glib against Gtk 2.8.20 from gladewin32.sf.net with MSVC6
under Windows XP. I'm using Perl 5.8.8 build 819 from ActiveState.
I also tried older versions of Glib (1.132, 1.120), but always got the
same error.
Thank you,
Mario Fischer
