Given that Gtk2::SimpleList is depreciated in favour of 
Gtk2::Ex::Simple::List, I assume it's not worth submitting a 
bug report?


Same problem with Gtk2::Ex::Simple::List. AFAIK it's the
same code as Gtk2::SimpleList, it was only renamed to keep
the Gtk2:: namespace strictly for stuff that wraps the C libraries.
