GdkPixbufSimpleAnim wrapper?

Has anyone wrapped the GdkPixbufSimpleAnim object?  I'm looking to
create an animation from a series of pixbufs, but there's no real
"supported file type" for loading straight from a file, hence the
requirement to do it via perl code.
