You're using libgnomeui widgets, but not calling Gnome2::Program->init 
(...) in your script.

This is mentioned in the FAQ in the Gtk2::GladeXML manpage, but the 
docs at http://gtk2-perl.sourceforge.net/doc/pod/ don't seem to have 
been updated yet.
