All of these modules will require the -devel packages in order to
compile, because the -devel packages contain headers.
At runtime, or when installing from a binary package, the -devel
packages are not needed.

According to gtksourceview's ChangeLog, that function was added on
the 8th of January, this year, and was released in version 1.1.90.
In other words, Gtk2::SourceView wants a newer version of
gtksourceview than you have.
You ought to be able to comment out the xsub and try again. We
should probably wrap that in a version guard in CVS.
