Here is another thought. Why not ask someone that has already
compiled the stuff to put up a ppm of the files. Then you can skip
all this nonsense and just type:
c:\ppm install file.ppm

Yes that would be ideal :) If you could forward instructions to ofey,
perhaps he will put us out of our misery. He says in a post further down
the thread that this is his next job: to figure out how to make ppms.
But anyway I'll try compiling it. Can't hurt to learn.
