Debian Unstable (not upgraded in a while though). Athlon XP 2500+, 512Mb
of Ram, local display.

First run:

time to load Glib 1.061: 0.009s
time to load Gtk2 1.061: 0.036s
time for Gtk2->init:     0.018s
total startup time:      0.063s
   Glib built for 2.4.6, running with 2.4.7
   Gtk2 built for 2.4.10, running with 2.4.13

Typical run:

time to load Glib 1.061: 0.009s
time to load Gtk2 1.061: 0.031s
time for Gtk2->init:     0.017s
total startup time:      0.057s
   Glib built for 2.4.6, running with 2.4.7
   Gtk2 built for 2.4.10, running with 2.4.13
