That's the understatement of the year!

I've never been able to follow any of the Gtk books on this, nor the 
'magic' that gtk-perl uses to handle it.  Now I'll admit I'm not the 
brightest bulb, but this is really nasty stuff.  I can't imagine how 
people ever get this right working in C, and gtk-perl would be crippled 
 if this didn't 'just work'.

You guys are gods for pulling this off.
