Hi all
I am trying to install Gtk-Perl-0.7009.
To do this I first downloaded and
installed Perl v5.8.3 from
SUN web page ( I have SUN sparc system
with solaris 8)
Since it required Gtk package I then
installed Gtk-2.2.4 for Solaris 8
again from SUN web page.
Then I tried to installed Gtk-Perl-0.7009
according to the installation
instructions. But when I
type
# perl Makefile.pl
I get the following message
meos uydu-ws5
~/tmp/Gtk-Perl-0.7009> perl Makefile.PL
Can't exec "gtk-config": No such file or directory at Makefile.PL line 141. Package 'gtk' needed but it was not detected on your system. You may want to force it using --with-gtk-force if you know better than me. It says it needs gtk but gtk is not
installed. But it is installed!!
What do you suggest me to
do?
