re Gnome2::Canvas Segmentation Fault

Thanks to the help from muppet  I've fixed it. Reading other postings on the 
list I realised that I was using Gtk and not Gtk2. Once I changed a few lines 
everything worked (or  at least I don't get the segmentation fault). Now I 
can keep playing & learning.
