Through slashdot, I recently discovered the beautiful concept of treemaps :)
(http://www.marumushi.com/apps/newsmap/ and http://www.smartmoney.com/marketmap/ are good
practical examples). I went to the resource sites
(http://www.cs.umd.edu/hcil/treemap-history/index.shtml) and discovered an open source java
implementation at http://sourceforge.net/projects/treemap.
Well, here is the question. Does any one know of a perl implementation of Treemap concept ?
Preferably using Gtk2 for graphics. I am more interested in the implementation of the layout
algorithms. Even half baked ones will do. Basic googling didn't return anything.
Thanks,
_Ofey
