erm, it looks like there is a bit of leading text missing, which should include the file and line of the redefinition. but it strikes me as odd that the redefinition is from a file included by gnome-vfs.h, because that would appear to mean that it is libgnomevfs's headers at fault, not Gnome2::VFS's (which, i admit, do some interesting things with enum defines).

can you send a few more line's worth of error output?
