The basic concepts of gtk+ and gtk-perl presented in the old tutorial 
are still largely okay, so we've been able to get by so far.  
Personally, i have nowhere near the time to port the tutorial; it 
doesn't look like it's a hard job, just a time-consuming one.

We are very open to volunteers.  ;-)
