New parent for widget?

Hi

Here's what I'd like to do:

The application loads a glade file (glade1). Then it will load another glade 
file (glade2) where it will get a widget.

I want the application to put this widget from glade2 into the glade window of 
glade1. Is this possible?

I tried to test this functionality where I'd put a notebook widget from glade2 
into a notebook widget of glade1. But it spat at me with with errors like 

Gtk-WARNING **: Can't set a parent on widget which has a parent
Gtk-WARNING **: gtkwidget.c:1703: container class `GtkWindow' has no child 
property named `tab_expand' at ./fmgtk2.pl line 26.
Gtk-ERROR **: file gtkcontainer.c: line 2446 (gtk_container_propagate_expose): 
assertion failed: (child->parent == GTK_WIDGET (container)) at ./fmgtk2.pl 
line 151.

Can it be done?
