Yes, CList and CTree have been replaced by a more poweful architecture.

Alternatively, you can use Gtk2::SimpleList which comes with gtk2-perl.
Documentation for it should have been installed during the installation
of gtk2-perl:

  perldoc Gtk2::SimpleList
