Gawd,  that seems like it should be in the core libs somehow.

Man,  I've had ideas that seem that brillient while I'm drunk but 
usually when I come back and look at the notes,  I just go find some 
more 'hair of the dog' if you know what I mean and I end up not being 
very productive.
